I am New Zealand by citizenship, live in Australia and want a degree that I can add to with postgraduate qualifications in the humanities and also make use of being multilingual (a work in progress; I am learning Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese). Also I want to eventually live and establish my career in a Latin American country (I have a slight obsession with the continent, people, languages, history)

I do not desire a position in politics, I rather prefer a "ground level" job working with the public in the real interests of the public and plan to take units in my studies related to international aid, development and multicultural studies. Currently thinking: translator, diplomat, international development worker, community development, sociologist.

Can someone be my careers adviser and help me decide what to study? :)
I understand knowledge about Westerners working in Latin America may be in short supply, but please tell me what you have. I'm going 2 start my A-levels this following monday.

I've picked 4 AS subjects, Business, Applied IT, Pyschology, & Sociology.

Can some 1 please explain what Pyschology & Socilogy like? Is there a lot of essay work involved? As I'm not good at that.

My career ambition is to become a commerial airline pilot, that's my absolute dream & I'll never change it, I'm a keen flyer & that's my dream.

The subjects I've picked are completely irrelevant to becoming a pilot, but what can I do. I'm not good at maths & physics, I know I would do terrible in them if I had picked them options. Maths & Physics are preferable but not essential. As long as you have a good well rounded off education, & obviously the various pilot licenses then you're in for a good chance.

Can some 1 just please explain, what AS SOCILOGY & PHYSICS are like? Will I still be able 2 get into university & do a degree? A good university, providing I get the grades?

I was asked to categorize the content every day during the event. I also became the assessor for this competition with two other assessors. It was held for one month on www.lombawisatajatim.com. Every day I must make a report to my manager about the updated participant and their contents. While the Public Relation Manager was in other city attending a meeting, I was asked to send the report by email. As the feedback the manager replied my message event report with saying “thanks, The World in Your Hand!!!” It was something unusual and surprised me, because I never thought that the manager will appreciate my job and spare time to reply my email. *On the third week, I still did the same jobs like the second week. Those jobs were **monitoring Lomba Wisata Jatim competition on the internet, news clipping, scanning, and filling the portal news.* In addition, I also asked to record re-organization event of the new manager for each division in Telkom DIVRE V Surabaya by my supervisor. In the end of the week, me, all division communication staffs and PR manager ate and took picture together on the last day. For farewell I gave a gift as souvenir for this division.
